The need for supplies is critical at hospitals across the country as the coronavirus intensifies. Now, one of the top hospitals in Massachusetts is using state-of-the-art technology to make their own N95 masks and face shields.

“So for the last week essentially, since Dr. Slavin’s interview, we’ve essentially mobilized several teams both inside and outside of Mass. General,” Dr. Marc Succi said. Dr. Succi is the executive director of the mesh incubator at Massachusetts General Hospital where they are inventing ways to build the supply. “Between shipments we want to make sure we are protecting our colleagues,” Dr. Succi said.
