SAN JUAN, Texas – Students in summer classes at the PSJA Collegiate High school are learning all about using a 3D printer. It’s a hands-on experience being taught in their school library in San Juan.
The goal is to learn more about engineering using 3D images and objects. “I love everything that is technology, computers, and tablets. I just want to get my hands on it, so being able to open the 3D printer and actually look at it and being the first one to put this forward really got me excited and I said we should have this for the entire campus,” says Cassandra Rios, PSJA student. Through this technology, PSJA school leaders are hoping students use the skills as a steppingstone towards their career goals.
