A Brevard County company that sells laser engraving machines is now using the machines along with 3D printers to make face shields for heath care workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Most Aeon Laser USA staff is working from home, but a few employees are on site in Melbourne putting together the acrylic face shields.

“We wanted to be proactive. When we heard what was happening in Italy, over in Spain … the shortage of supplies in New York.
