AMT reveals Formnext booth made up of over 6,000 3D printed parts

While most companies in the AM industry will use their booths at Formnext to exhibit and showcase their technologies or products, one company is hoping to do so with its booth.

 .

Post-processing specialist Additive Manufacturing Technologies Ltd. (AMT) will present a totally unique stand at the upcoming Formnext event in Frankfurt made of over 6,000 3D printed (and post-processed) parts.

 .

The company’s booth, which will span 84 square meters and 4 meters in height, is described by AMT as a modular, fully customizable and, importantly, reusable construction. The one-of-a-kind exhibition stand was designed and produced in collaboration with Steel Roots Design, a Sheffield-based shopfitter that specializes in the design and construction of commercial furniture and interiors.

The 3D printed booth, to be found in Hall 12.1, booth E61, is made up of 6,061 3D printed components, each of which have undergone post-processing. The 3D printed structural components will connect […]
