Terminology, printers, materials & software In this post we’ll be giving you an overview of the kind of terminology you might come across when learning about 3D printers, the different types of printers there are and the ones DigiLab has, what materials you can print with and what software you can use. To start with, let’s look at a list of words you might come across. 3D printer mid print Filament — Filament is what most domestic 3D printers use to create objects.
