Custom Color 3D Printing installs two HP Jet Fusion 580 3D printers
Chicago-based additive manufacturing service provider, Custom Color 3D Printing, has launched its full-colour AM service with HP ’s Multi Jet Fusion technology. The company, which was founded last year, has installed two HP Jet Fusion 580 printers in a bid to deliver colour 3D printing to small businesses, for prototyping and low volume production runs.
Kent Mages, founder of Custom Color 3D Printing said he believes the start-up to be “one of the most innovative printing service companies in the US” making HP’s 3D printing technology accessible to small and mid-sized businesses. Mages added: “Our HP 3D printers offer businesses a scalability that allows them to address very specific needs.
