A handful of local private schools are donating their 3D printing equipment to LifeBridge Health to aid the system in producing more medical supplies, which are currently in short supply and high demand amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

As emergency production efforts across the U.S. have ramped up, Greater Baltimore institutions with equipment to spare have been looking to pitch in however they can. And now, some of the city’s private schools are finding ways to join the effort, especially as campuses are set to remain dormant through most of April.
