The Polaroid PlaySmart 3D printer, featured on the June 25 Showstoppers TV virtual product showcasing event last week, is a lightweight desktop 3D printer that requires no experience with 3D printing to operate, and can work with the scores of pre-existing designs available for download for free from the 3D community.

Coupled with the easy-to-use Polaroid Prep software that comes with each printer, printing is said to be achieved with two clicks of a button after downloading and importing an existing model. Users can also draw from their imaginations and create their own designs using any third-party design package, says the company.
