Origin starts shipping Origin One 3D printer

Origin says it has already secured customers in industries including footwear, automotive, contract manufacturing and government

San Francisco-based 3D printer manufacturer Origin has announced it is now officially shipping its open platform Origin One system after doubling its install base with Global Fortune 500 customers in the last six months.

 .

The company, which launched the first machine based on its P3 technology at RAPID + TCT back in May, has already secured customers across the U.S., Ireland, Germany and Denmark, most recently adding two service bureaus, Avid and Interpro , to its roster.
