ExOne has introduced the X1 160Pro, its largest metal 3D printer. Delivering binder jet 3D printing for production, the printer has a build area of 31.5 by 19.7 by 15.8 in. and a 160-l build volume. The open material system prints more than six metals, including 316L, 304L, and 17-4PH, as well as ceramics and composites.

It features the patented Triple ACT (advanced compaction technology) system, which handles dispensing, spreading, and compacting of ultrafine metal powders for improved part density and repeatability.
